Plenty going on this Month. The Badger has been an occasional visitor and there is a great clip below of him/her chasing a more common Fox! Roe Deer have been regular callers, sometimes during daylight hours. A young male and sometimes a mature female were filmed – perhaps ‘Bambi’s’ Mum from last year.
The annual Mallard Ducklings were spotted on the lawn, but sadly Mrs Duck wasn’t with them. Perhaps she was a Fox victim. Within days poor Mr Duck had only two little ones left to look after. Nature, eh?
There have been dozens of pheasants around as usual and there is a nice clip of one of the alpha males showing off, as well as some of the less common birds seen this month.
The Park is growing up nicely and there is a gallery of a day’s tour around here.
Badger checking Molehill for worms.
Young male Roe Deer. Perhaps one of the babies from last year?
Duck predator? Maybe not this one as it looks a bit thin.
Classic clip of the Badger chasing the fox!
Lovely female Deer in rare daylight visit.
Favourite bird visitor. Barn Owl. Lovely to see them on the prowl.
Single parent Mr Duck with his brood. After a few days sadly only two were left 🙁
Show off male Pheasant
Finally here is one of our cats (Winnie) getting into a favourite place. The bird table. Difficult walking on a picket fence…
